Power BI and reporting

Reports readybefore the meeting.

Power BI dashboards for owners, finance heads and operations, fed directly from Business Central, Tally exports, Excel and your other systems, so the MIS is no longer rebuilt by hand every week.

What changes.

The difference between compiling reports and simply opening them.

01MIS without the late nightsReports refresh on a schedule instead of being rebuilt in Excel.
02One version of the numbersSales, finance and operations read from the same data model.
03Group view in one placeSeveral companies and branches consolidated, then drill down to the invoice.
04On phone and laptopThe same dashboards on the move, with access by role.
05Questions answered fasterFilter, slice and drill instead of asking for a new report.

We also supply Power BI Pro and Premium Per User licences, sized to who builds and who only views reports.

Questions, answered.

If yours is not here, ask us. We reply the same business day.

Do we need Business Central to use Power BI?

No. Power BI can read from Excel, Tally exports, databases and many cloud apps. Business Central simply makes the data cleaner.

We already have Power BI reports. Can you improve them?

Yes. We review the data model and the reports, fix what is slow or wrong, and rebuild where that is quicker.

Who needs a Power BI licence?

Usually the people who create and share reports need Power BI Pro; viewers' needs depend on how reports are shared. We work it out per user.

Can the numbers match our books exactly?

That is part of the work: we reconcile dashboard totals with your ledgers before rollout.
